Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG Commitment

At Tabys Petroleum Operations, we actively encourage our employees to propose CSR initiatives of varying scales, with a focus on clearly demonstrating the benefits these projects bring to the Company, society, and the environment. In 2023 alone, we successfully implemented three CSR projects that positively impacted biodiversity in Kazakhstan.

Our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles is deeply embedded in our core operations. Through this integration, we aim to generate long-term value for our stakeholders while contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Chess Championship Tournaments

As part of our CSR efforts in Almaty, Kazan, and Astana, Tabys Petroleum Operations has organized Mid-Junior Chess Championships for college students under the age of 20 across these key cities in Kazakhstan. The tournament is designed to foster critical thinking and a culture of creativity among youth.

Prizes vary each year, and in the most recent championship, the top awards were as follows:

First place: $50,000 USD

Second place: $30,000 USD

Third place: $15,000 USD
